Since 2008, The Green Campaign (GCAMP), has been impacting and inspiring the youth of New York city through community events, school visits and workshops.
The Green Campaign, a non-profit Education Opportunity Program, that focuses on redirecting at risk youth and young adults, away from harm, into positive learning environments for personal and professional growth, enriching their quality of life, maximizing their chances of success.
The Green Campaign has an activity-based, harm prevention approach that focuses in on using Academics, Art, Music, Fashion and Sports to deliver this message, while expanding into; healthy eating, fitness & mental health to strengthen confidence, self awareness, healing, civic & community engagement. The Green Campaign will serve to bridge the gap between disenfranchised youth as well as those who have not yet unlocked their hidden potential with our Restore & Rebuild and Educate & Entertain activations.
GCAMP is an acronym we use for the organization that stands for Genuinely Care About My People. Having a G-camp/campus approach with our program sets an alignment for safe community environments for curiosity and continual learning. We encouraging those and strongly believe that everyone can make our neighborhoods and planet a better, safer and more sustainable place. GCAMP works to help spread the word to communities and promotes the motto of becoming the, “Green You”, a commitment of investment in the development of ourselves and community through collaboration and advocating for the needed resources.
