Our “Walking On Water” Initiative is a business entrepreneurship program, in partnership with the Moses West Foundation that will deliver an AWG5000 Machine to the New York City Metropolitan area in the East Brooklyn Community for the purpose of establishing an infrastructure for New York City youth and community, whom are interested or have a history of selling water bottles around the city and community leaders who want to answer the call of our food desert and fresh produce crisis in East Brooklyn. Our organization will create 16oz Aluminum recyclable/reusable bottles, along with a reoccurring 24-Week environmental education and leadership program to prepare, training and mentor participants with a mission to setting up a sustainable water supply system for our community needs.
Walking On Water” simply means to rise above adversity, conflict and opposition. It's a tagline that we are coining as the core message of this initiative to build character, pride and knowledge of self for the youth who’ve been discounted by society. When a youth says he/she is walking on water, it is to denote a young person pushing for a positive lifestyle, staying away from conflicts, crime, drugs and the trappings associated with urban adolescent/teen life. Our organization believes in providing pathways of success for impoverished youth and look to take this campaign national.
Our physical location for the AWG will be located in the historic East Brooklyn Industrial Park section of New York City, an area that has been generationally disadvantaged with few resources, lack of investment and multiple abandoned lands and buildings formerly used for manufacturing.
Partnering with the Moses West Foundation will provide tutelage on AWG systems and the proper water distribution framework geared towards providing resources, jobs and incentives to those who join in support of our mission. Our business model framework will be used to establish a community hub, centered around curing the crisis of lack of quality and healthy fresh food in our community.
Our community partners are, The Mayors Office, NIBS, Gail Wells (Freedom Gardens), East New York CLT, Universecity, Community Board 4, Community Board 5 , Councilmember Sandy Nurse.
