How does the Guns For Grants submit a firearm program work?
The Green Campaign has a partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Innovation, NY District Attorney and NYPD Community Affairs to submit illegal firearm through “amnesty”.
All firearms should be unloaded and secured in a shoe box, or duffle bag.
Once this is done, the individual is eligible to access to our college access program with St. Francis College.
Yes, someone can submit the firearm on behalf of the young person. A follow up will be initiated after submission and we are not required by law to share this information.
